The Brigade's 999 Control Officers have taken more than 40 calls to the blaze.
Fire crews from Ilford, Stratford, Leytonstone, Plaistow, Dagenham and surrounding fire stations are at the scene. LFB added: 'The Brigade was called at 2.47pm.
